Edwardian 0.50ct Sapphire and Diamond Cluster Ring, c.1910s

This beautiful Edwardian cluster ring features a pale blue sapphire at its centre. The 0.50 carat sapphire is a baguette cut gem, elegantly rub over set, and surrounded by a total of 0.50 carat of eight cut diamonds. The diamonds all match in quality at G in colour and VS in clarity, creating a stunning rectangle cluster halo effect. The diamonds and sapphire are all set into a platinum head, whilst the basket and band are crafted from 18 carat yellow gold, creating a wonderful contrast and timeless appeal.
