Vintage 1.00ct Ruby and Diamond Cluster Earrings, c.1980s

These beautiful cluster earrings date back to the 1980s. Each earring features a vivid red central ruby. Weighing 0.50 carat each, the oval cut stones are set in contrasting 18 carat yellow gold. Surrounding each ruby, a cluster of round brilliant diamonds totalling 1.20 carat is delicately claw set into platinum.  The head and post of each earring is in platinum whilst the alpha backs are in 18 carat yellow gold.
