Lock-out mode:  Yes, electronic lockout is accessed from Firefly mode. In Firefly mode, press and hold the switch for about 2 seconds until the light shuts off. The light will not turn on if the button is clicked again and the switch LED turns red. To unlock, repeat the process and the light turns on Firefly mode. You can manually lock the light out also by unscrewing the battery tube about ⅛ turn.
