Action Screws (2-Piece Set)

Description We machine these screws in-house for shooters who won’t trust their rifle to hardware-store fasteners. Each 1/4-28 screw runs rolled threads—not cut—so material flows instead of being removed. That improves thread strength, torque feel, and long-term durability. The 5/32″ hex socket is extra deep for positive tool engagement and fewer stripped heads when you’re wrenching in a cold truck bed. Shafts are turned down between the head and threads to clear pillars and bottom metal, reduce weight, and keep things tidy. We ship them long on purpose so you can trim for your specific stock and action depth; we also add extra thread length for full engagement after fitting. Available in 303 stainless or Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V). Tested well beyond the common 65 in-lb torque spec used by most custom actions and stocks—yet always follow your action maker’s spec.
