CARVED BROWN TROUT PAGE TURNER c1880

This unusual Victorian Page Turner is carved as a fish, possibly a Brown Trout.  It makes me smile every time I look at it. The Fish can be stood on his fins for display as a desk ornament or on a shelf. He has one glass eye – the other is missing.  There is a chip to the tip of one of the back fins and nibbles to the curved end. He has a warm colour and patina and lots of charm.
